Used car care tip - Removing and replacing the sealed-beam unit
Hold the car headlight firmly in one hand. With your other hand, wiggle the socket off the headlight prongs. If the socket is hard to reach, grasp the wires leading to it. On some cars this can be done from inside the engine compartment. When installing a new headlight, push the socket all the way onto the prongs. Apply dielectric compound to the joint between the socket and prongs to prevent corrosion. Replace the retaining ring and trim. Remove the trim screws with a Phillips or Torx-head screwdriver and gently pull the trim free. The trim may surround two sealed beams, or it may include a parking light housing. To free the parking light socket from the trim, twist it counter-clockwise one-quarter turn.

Correct tire air pressure extends tire age, improves mileage and gives you better control when driving. You will find the recommended pressure for your car's tires on the tire itself, and also in your owners manual, on a sticker inside the glove compartment or on the drivers door. Use a tire pressure gauge to check the pressure every two weeks. Also check it when driving between hot and cold climates, such as on a long road trip.
For an accurate reading, measure the pressure with the tires are cold. If the pressure is too high, we need some air by depressing the pan in the center of the air valves, and take another reading. Check the pressure of all tires, including the spare.
